ITRA APAC's Eligibility - Top 30 ITRA listed Athletes
Expressions of Interest to compete ApTRc's 2024
AUTRA is seeking Expressions of Interest from trail athletes that wish to apply to compete at the 2024 APTRC’s in South Korea scheduled to be held 23-27 October.
The top 30 ITRA ranked Australian athletes are eligible to apply. Please find attached here the current top 30 list of males and females and U23's.
Athlete eligibility and more information can also be found here. https://aptrc2024.com/125
Preliminary applications from AUTRA must be in no later than the 15th July to secure a team spot. Which means that selections need to be made by no later than the 10th July by the Selection Committee.
Which means we need your EOI's by the 3rd July!
Please note that this does not confirm your entry but a spot cannot be reserved for the team without this application due on the 15th, so there is a strict deadline for EOI’s which is July 3rd.
Please send your EOI’s to the Chair of the Selection Committee Tia Jones at tia.jones@aura.asn.au no later than COB 3 July.
Yes, we are repeating this date as its VERY IMPORTANT!
AUTRA will provide uniforms and some funding to successful athletes, and at this stage we are looking at taking potentially three males and females for both short and long distance, and two from the U23's. Please make sure that you state in your application which event you are applying for. For the team to be in the running for points there needs to be three runners in each category. If the positions get filled there is still an opportunity for runners to self fund and attend to field a larger team and uniforms will be provided to these runners.
Accommodation and full board will be provided by the LOC and AUTRA for the 5 days of the competition for selected individuals.
Successful applicants will be notified on the 10th July and must confirm their acceptance of the spot on the 14th July. We repeat that this acceptance still does not confirm your spot until after the preliminary forms have gone in.
