TRAIL ASIAN PACIFIC
The 2026 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships (APTRC) will take place from 24th to 28th November 2026 in Wuyishan, Fujian Province, China. Renowned for its timeless landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and centuries-old trails, Wuyishan offers an unforgettable stage for the region’s most prestigious trail running event.
Following the successful debut of the championships in Ulju, South Korea, in 2024, the second edition of the APTRC will once again unite the top trail runners from across the Asia Pacific region. Athletes will compete for individual and team titles and a coveted overall cup, highlighting both personal excellence and national pride.
The championship program will include three official race categories:
- Long Trail (approximately 80km)
- Short Trail (approximately 40km)
- U23 Trail (approximately 15km)
To be eligible for consideration, athletes must be ranked within the following thresholds:
- Long Trail: Top 30 athletes per gender based on the General Performance Index
- Short Trail: Top 30 athletes per gender based on the General Performance Index
