WINNER – DECEMBER 2018 MEMBERSHIP COMPETITION

Kate Dzienis • January 6, 2019

In 2018 an AURA sub committee comprising Jodie Oborne, Brendan Davies, Majell Backhausen and Gary Mullins undertook a formal review of AURA’s Elite Performance Program. One of the key initiatives recommended in the review was that a team coach / manager be appointed to teams attending major overseas championships.

The AURA Executive Committee at its December 2018 meeting decided to trial the appointment of this role for the team attending the 24 Hour Championship in France in October this year and which if successful could see similar appointments made for certain Australian teams for 2020 and beyond.

We are now seeking applications for this position, with the successful candidate overseeing the preparations of the 24 Hour team and attending the IAU championships in a team coach / manager role.

This is a volunteer role with all expenses paid. Applications close Monday January 21 and the appointment will be announced on Friday February 1.
