2022 AURA POINTS COMPETITION — WE’RE ALMOST THERE

2022 AURA POINTS COMPETITION — WE’RE ALMOST THERE

Alexis Oosterhoff • December 19, 2022

As 2022 draws to a close, so to does the 2022 AURA Membership Points Competition

At the time of writing, there are just two remaining AURA-listed events to be processed for the annual points competition (6 Inch and Bruny Island) . Interim results have been published at the end of each month since March over on the Points Competition page, and an update has just been published for December.

Did you volunteer at an ultra running event in 2022? If you did, THANK YOU! Without the thousands of hours volunteered each and every year, many of the events on the Australian circuit could not be held. The AURA Points Competition recognises member volunteer contributions by counting each for two points, to a maximum of 20 (i.e. 10 events) – to register your volunteer contributions, please submit the form here by no later than 6 January 2023.

We will announce the final winners in the second half of January.

2022 has been a phenomenal year for ultra running, with AURA listing over 90 events. This means there has been a huge amount of data to collect and process, and there will no doubt be some errors or name mis-matches in the system. To ensure accuracy of results, please take a few minutes to review your results under the 2022 tab on the Points Comp page here. If you spot any errors, ommissions or have questions, please contact Alexis Oosterhoff via email at results@aura.asn.au
