2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Rob Donkersloot • March 27, 2020

AURA’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28 April 2020. This year, because of Coronavirus restrictions the meeting will be held only by electronic attendance through teleconference. To obtain a quorum, we require a significant number of members to either attend or nominate a proxy who can vote on their behalf. The proxy can be the chairperson of the meeting, or someone else attending that you nominate.

To register your intention to attend electronically or to appoint a proxy, please fill in the online forms available here.

New Office Holders Required

After one year as Vice President and three years as President, I will not be nominating for a committee role this year. When I stood for president in 2017 I clearly stated I would be prepared to hold the position for three years, those three years are now at an end.

Alexis Oosterhoff who has held the position of Treasurer for one year before moving to the position of Vice President for the last two years will also be retiring, as will Ness Hartge, the Associations’s Treasurer for the last two years.

This means we actively require nominations for these positions, as the Association cannot operate without committee members. If you are interested in a committee role, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss. My mobile is 0457 149 19, or email president@aura.asn.au
