2019 ASIAN 100KM CHAMPIONSHIPS ANNOUNCEMENT

IAU has announced the 2019 Asian 100km Championships will make place in Aqaba, Jordan on 22nd or 23rd November 2019 (to be confirmed). AURA will be sending an Australian team, it is anticipated selection criteria will be the same as / similar to the World Championships.

Selection applications will open in July, if runners are looking at achieving qualifying performances the Gold Coast 100 to be held on 9 June is one potential event. AURA will work with race directors of other AURA listed events to establish whether they are able to provide official 100km timing in 12 hour events. Such events may include Coburg 13 April, Sri Chinmoy Sydney 15 June and Adelaide 13 July. Please contact AURA if you wish to consider running a qualifying time at one of these races.
