Now in its 17th year, the Adelaide 24 Hour Festival continues a rich history. In 2009, URSA, a fledgling business, held the inaugural Adelaide 6 Hour – only to find it grow so much that, in subsequent years, the 12 Hour and 24 Hour events added. In 2022, Dawn Parks picked up the reigns and continued the event, adding a 3 Hour option as well. Hundreds of runners and walkers have taken part in the Festival, with the event experiencing all kinds of weather… but always managing to foster a special kind of spirit amongst the participants.
